This opal is difficult to describe or photograph in a manner that conveys its effect in-hand. It has an amazing bright turquoise color on one half and a rich purple color on the other. In addition, both halves change color depending on the light and angle. The overall color change effect is simply magical, akin to the finest specimens of alexandrite.
